
White Chocolate Chip Matcha Cookies

Ingredients:
- cups ( g) all-purpose flour
- tbsp culinary grade matcha powder
- tsp baking soda
- tsp salt
- cup ( g) unsalted butter, softened
- cup ( g) granulated sugar
- cup ( g) packed brown sugar
- large egg
- tsp vanilla extract
- cup ( g) white chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to () and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt. Sift the matcha first if it's clumpy.
- In a separate large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
