Where does the Matcha come from?

Onze Matcha komt uit Uji, Japan, en is uitsluitend gemaakt van jonge, in de schaduw geteelde theeblaadjes. Hierdoor krijgt hij zijn unieke felgroene kleur en zachte smaak.

Why ceremonial grade only?

At Wabi, we believe in offering the best quality matcha available. That's why we exclusively sell Ceremonial Grade.

This highest grade of matcha is made from the youngest, finest tea leaves, carefully grown in the shade. This results in a powder that is:

  1. Exceptionally smooth and creamy in texture.
  2. Has a natural sweet taste (umami), without the bitterness often found in lower grades.
  3. Perfect for drinking pure as a traditional tea.

Not only is ceremonial grade tastier, it also has more health benefits than other quality grades.

How do I make Matcha?

Zeef 1 gram Wabi Matcha in een kom en voeg 60 ml lauwwarm water toe. Klop tot de matcha is opgelost en er een schuimlaag begint te verschijnen. Giet in een glas en vul aan met ijs en melk naar keuze, of giet in een mok en vul aan met schuimende warme melk naar keuze.

How does the subscription work?

Met het Wabi abonnement krijg je korting op de matcha poeder en krijg je elke 2 maanden nieuwe matcha bezorgd. Het abonnement is maandelijks opzegbaar!

How long does matcha stay good for?

Matcha blijft meer dan anderhalf jaar goed. Na opening raden we aan de matcha binnen 3 maanden te gebruiken.

How do I store the matcha?

De recyclebare Wabi matcha-zakjes hebben een luchtdicht ziplock-systeem, waardoor de matcha goed bewaard blijft. U kunt de matcha het beste op een donkere plek bewaren.
